Waterfalls of Austria - KRIMMLER WaterFalls - Austria, Aug. 19, 1988
A large part of the alpine region in the south of Salzburg state belongs to the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Krimmler falls are also part of this nature reserve. You can find out more about waterfalls in the Water Wonder World which is right by the Krimml Falls.
The Krimmler waterfalls are part of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern located in the provinces of Salzburg , Triol and KÄRNTEN. The Krimmler falls have a total height of about 400 meters (1310 ft.). There is a lower fall with about 150 m (490 ft.) , a middle fall with about 100m (330 ft.) and a upper fall with about 150 m (490 ft.)
The Krimmler Waterfalls, is the highest waterfall in Europe.
