Liberia Post issued a waterfalls stamp on the year 1921 depicting “St. Pauls river rapids”.
Seventy five Cents, St. Paul’s River Rapids Liberia stamp was part of a local scenes of Liberia, the long set of twelve 12 (twelve) stamps was released in 1921.
The horizontal 75 Cents, stamp was designed in black brown and red colour stamp.
The St. Paul River originated in the Western African country of Guinea border and passes through the Liberia.
The St.Pauls river was discovered by the Portuguese navigators in the early 15th century on the feast day of St. Paul’s and name it as St. Paul’s river.
Note on Waterfall Liberia stamp: Liberia postal department was also issued St. Paul’S River Rapids stamp in the center inverted stamps and circulated to public. It was a printing mistake and a nice item for Liberia stamp collectors, waterfall thematic stamp collectors and the error stamp collectors.
